Why Hotels Choose Us
Built to Shift Bookings From OTAs to Direct
Most independent hotels are in the same position: the OTA listing converts better than their own website, so they keep paying commission on bookings they could have taken themselves. It is rarely a rate problem — under parity the price is broadly the same. It is that the OTA listing answers the guest's questions better and books in fewer taps.
The fix is unglamorous. Room pages that actually describe the room, a stated reason to book direct, and a booking engine that is wired in properly rather than bolted on as an afterthought. Then separate routes for the revenue that never comes through a booking engine at all — weddings, events, group stays, and restaurant or spa reservations.
We build the website and integrate the booking engine you already use. We do not replace your property-management system or channel manager, and nothing we build changes how your inventory or rates are managed.
What holds hotels back
Guests frequently find you on an OTA, then visit your own site before booking. If the direct site answers fewer questions and takes more taps to book, they return to the OTA and you pay commission on a guest who was already yours.
A room name, one photo, and a rate is not enough to close a direct booking. Guests want size, bed configuration, view, occupancy, what is included, and what the room actually looks like — the detail an OTA listing usually provides and hotel sites often do not.
Under rate parity the price is the same, so price cannot be the argument. Without a stated direct benefit — flexibility, a room upgrade where available, breakfast, late checkout — the guest has no reason to choose your site over the listing they already trust.
High-value enquiries land in the same inbox as everything else, without the detail needed to respond well, and often reach the wrong person. This is revenue a booking engine never touches, handled worse than the bookings that are automated.
Hotels Website Features
What we build for hotels
A hotel website that gives guests a reason to book direct, hands them cleanly to your booking engine, and routes events and dining enquiries to the people who handle them.
Case Results:
What this does — and does not — replace
To be clear about scope: we build your website and integrate it with your existing booking engine. We do not supply or replace a property-management system (PMS) or a channel manager, and we do not build a booking engine. Your inventory, rates, and channel distribution stay exactly where they are managed today.
Digital Marketing
How we bring hotels the right traffic
Hotel and destination SEO
Guests search by destination long before they search by property name. Destination and area content captures that research stage, where OTAs currently dominate the results.
Brand-defence paid search
OTAs routinely bid on your hotel name, so a guest searching for you directly may see an OTA listing first and book there. Defending your own brand terms is usually the highest-return paid activity a hotel can run.
Offers and seasonal content
Seasonal offers and packages give returning and direct guests a reason to book now, and provide content worth updating through the year rather than a static site.
Review presence
Reviews influence booking decisions on and off your site. Displaying genuine reviews from your existing platform closes a gap where OTA listings otherwise hold the advantage.
Lead Generation
How enquiries reach you
Hotels do not all convert the same way. We build a separate path for each, so every enquiry arrives with the detail needed to act on it.

Integrations
What we connect to
Booking engine
Integration with the booking engine you already use, via its supported embed or handoff method. We confirm your specific provider and its integration options during discovery — we do not supply or replace a booking engine.
Restaurant and spa reservations
Handoff to your existing reservation tool for dining and treatments, or an enquiry route where no tool is in use.
Review platform
Display of genuine reviews from the platform you already collect them on.
CRM for enquiries
Wedding, event, and group enquiries delivered to your CRM with source attribution. Connects to your existing system.
GA4 and booking analytics
Booking handoff tracked as a conversion event. Completed-booking measurement is only possible where your booking engine supports callback or cross-domain tracking — we confirm this per provider rather than assuming it.
Measurement
What we report on
- Where booking handoffs start — which rooms, offers, and pages
- Enquiry volume and type across weddings, events, groups, and dining
- Destination and brand search visibility
- Completed-booking reporting where your booking engine supports the measurement
What We Build
Our Hotels capability
We have not yet published a hotel case study. Rather than present work from another sector as hospitality experience, here is precisely what we build and integrate for hotels — including where our scope ends.
- Integration with your existing booking engine, using its supported handoff method.
- Room-type pages carrying the detail guests use to decide, with genuine imagery.
- A stated, honest direct-booking benefit — never an invented discount.
- Separate enquiry routes for weddings, events, groups, and dining.
- Destination content aimed at guests still choosing where to stay.
- Booking handoff measured as a conversion event, with completed-booking tracking only where your engine genuinely supports it.

Resorts
We also build resorts websites
A resort booking is not a room-night. Guests are choosing how to spend several days, comparing what there is to do, what is included, and whether the property suits the trip they have in mind. The decision takes weeks rather than days and involves more people.
Experiences & Activities
The activities, dining, and excursions that drive the decision, presented as browsable content.
Accommodation Types
Villas, suites, and room categories differentiated by what the stay is actually like.
Seasonal Packages & Itineraries
Packages and sample itineraries that make a multi-night stay easy to picture and easy to book.
Weddings, Retreats & Group Events
Dedicated journeys for the group revenue that no booking engine handles.
FAQs
Hotels websites — frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions hotels ask us most often.
Have a specific requirement? Get in touch and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit.
No. We build your website and integrate it with your existing booking engine. We do not supply or replace a property-management system or a channel manager, and we do not build a booking engine. Your inventory, rates, and channel distribution continue to be managed exactly where they are today. If anyone tells you a website project replaces those systems, treat it with caution.
We integrate with the engine you already use, through whichever embed or handoff method that provider supports. Rather than publish a list that may be out of date, we confirm your specific provider and its integration options during discovery, before any commitment is made. Booking engine subscription fees are paid to your provider and are not included in our pricing.
Multilingual delivery is scoped as a separate phase, not included in the Direct or Demand tiers. Our current site framework does not yet include multi-language routing, so we scope this explicitly on projects that need it rather than implying it is already available. Translated copy is either supplied by you or quoted separately — we build the structure, not the translations.
Because booking-engine integration genuinely varies. Some providers offer a clean, documented handoff that takes hours; others require more work to integrate well. Quoting one fixed price across all of them would mean either overcharging the simple cases or under-delivering the complex ones, so we start from a base and confirm scope after we know your provider.
By closing the gap that sends guests back to the listing. That means room pages that answer questions as completely as the OTA does, a stated reason to book direct, and a booking path that takes fewer taps. We cannot guarantee a particular shift in booking mix — that depends on your rates, market, and the offer you make — but these are the specific gaps that cause direct sites to lose to listings.
Yes, and they should be. These are high-value enquiries a booking engine never touches. We build dedicated routes with forms matched to what your events team actually needs — date, guest numbers, event type — and route them to the right person rather than a shared inbox.
We always track the booking handoff as a conversion, which tells you where bookings start. Tracking completed bookings depends on whether your booking engine supports callback or cross-domain measurement — many do, some do not. We confirm this per provider and tell you honestly what is measurable rather than reporting a number we cannot substantiate.
Yes. On the Demand tier we build restaurant pages with menus and service times, and spa or treatment content, each with a reservation handoff to your existing tool or an enquiry route where no tool is in use. This is on-property revenue that hotel websites often leave almost invisible.
Typically four to eight weeks depending on tier, how much room and rate content is ready, and how straightforward the booking engine integration proves to be. The integration is usually the variable — we scope it early so the timeline is realistic rather than optimistic.
Hosting, SSL, maintenance and security updates, uptime monitoring, monthly content updates including offers and seasonal changes, ongoing SEO improvements, and support. Higher tiers add paid search management, reporting, and additional integrations. Booking engine, reservation tool, and CRM subscriptions are paid to those providers and are listed as exclusions on each tier.
